Team 91 Carolina Boys 2025: One Last Ride!

91 Carolina Boys 2025 Set Their Aim on CrabFeast and Naptown!

A Skilled and Talented Group

"The 91 Carolina 2025s will wrap their final summer playing in two of the toughest events, and I know this group would want nothing different than to take on the top teams in the country. I think what I will remember most about this group is the dedication they've shown to the sport of lacrosse, and the skill they've developed associated with that. Most of these guys have had a stick in their hands from a very young age, during a time when making lacrosse your primary sport wasn't something many kids in the area were doing. They are also great leaders for their high school teams, get it done in the classroom, and will leave their mark on the Carolina lacrosse community as they wrap their 91 Carolina careers and head into their senior seasons for their high school teams."

uncommitted 2025s

  • AJ Ahart, #30, Attack/Midfield - The lefty emerged this season as a big piece of Green Level's championship run. Can play attack or come out of the box, high IQ and a quick first step to free his hands.

  • Brody Bessette, #8, Attack - The lefty has the ability to take over games and score in bunches, toughness to turn the corner and a danger if his hands are free from the outside. Tough player not afraid to throw his body around if it means finding the back of the net. Runs out of the box well if needed, working a SSDM matchup if given the chance.

  • Marcelo Bouse, #23, LSM - Great off the deck, and a threat in transition the speedy LSM creates offense in the middle of the field. Plays a big part in the Face-Off game as well with strong wing play, while often covering team's top mid.

  • Griffin Cardillo, #11, Goalie - An extremely athletic goalie that has his best moments on the biggest stages. In the clearing game uses his athletic ability to gain extra possessions and push the ball out of the end quickly.

  • Jackson Cooling, #32, Defense - Leverage and power, any attackman knows they were in a game after going up against Cooling. The lefty throws powerful checks allowing him to be a takeaway guy while showing high IQ off ball.

  • Ryan Crawford, #99, Goalie - Consistent and fundamentally sound, Crawford is rarely out of position and forces shooters to aim small. Throws a good deep ball and allows his teammates to run out in the transition game.

  • Colin Cruickshank, #7, SSDM - Ability to win his matchup with no slide needed, Cruickshank's football side shows on the defensive side of the ball. One man clear in the transition game shows his speed out of the defensive end to push in transition.

  • Jack D'Agostin, #34, Midfield - A physical lefty dodger with good hands, and strong shot on the run. Excellent out of the box with a head of steam, or finding lanes for time and room. Can play attack as well, generating from the wing off the sweep.

  • Evan Friend, #91, Attack/Midfield - Slick attackman who can also play out of the box, Evan is a high IQ addition to the team leaning on his time playing up in Mass. before moving to NC. Plays well with both hands, and a guy you can push it to on the crease in tight space.

  • Austin Govey, #13, SSDM - Tough with a non-stop motor, Govey fears no matchup and plays with a strong base with good body position. Good speed to contribute in the transition game, and off the wings.

  • Zac Leighton, #0, Midfield - Two-way midfielder who can stretch up top and get down the alley with either hand and shoot it well on the run. Uses a quick release when hands are free and has good range on his shot.

  • Will Malpass, #11, LSM - Fundamentally sound, good combination of size and speed, Malpass covers ground between the boxes and makes few mistakes for offenses to exploit. Can drop low and play close as well, showing the versatility.

  • Hutch Melind, #16, Midfield - Fast, two-way midfielder who does a little bit of it all well. Can defend and be a take-away threat as a SSDM, good off the deck and in transition and can get his hands free on the offensive end as well.

  • Harrison Murray, #45, Midfield - Two-way mid, Murray's athletic ability always pops on the field, whether it is flying by in the transition game to generate offense, dodging from the wing or off the invert. Plays the game with both hands, giving him the ability to take what defenses give him.

  • Wylie Overholser, #25, Defense - Big time athlete with a football background that has the ability to win his matchup each game. A physical presence, with strong footwork who is tough to beat 1v1.

  • Brown Parker, #20, Midfield - The high IQ, powerful lefty midfielder can light it up, a matchup problem that must get the pole. Very reliable in the clearing game with plenty of speed to get out, on offense works well on the island or within the 2-man game.

  • Will Putman, #50, FO/M - Technically sound, Will is a master of the craft. Has a number of exits and counters, while also being very solid with the ball in his stick making it tough to pressure him after a win.

  • Aedan Savage, #6, Defense - Size that stands out and a football background, Savage is imposing with his size and length on the defensive end. Covers ground and takes up lanes off ball.

  • Nick Van Kula, #38, Attack/Midfield - Slick with a hockey background, Van Kula can play attack or midfield out of the box. Nice low to high shot with his feet set or on the run, with good hands off ball.
