Team 91 Carolina Mission Statement

The Triangle’s most committed players and coaches. The best training, competition, gear, and club lacrosse experience.

Team 91 was founded to provide a level of teaching and player development that goes beyond the traditional travel lacrosse experience. Team 91 Carolina is designed for committed players who want to become the best lacrosse players, teammates, and student-athletes they can be.

Our development model begins at the youth level with a focus on fundamentals, athletic development, and lacrosse IQ. At the high school level, players continue to improve while competing against top programs and gaining access to recruiting opportunities and national exposure.

Youth Players: Grades 1–8

Our youth program prepares players for the challenges of high school lacrosse through year-round skill development and high-level instruction.

Players train alongside other talented and committed athletes while building:

  • Lacrosse IQ and decision-making
  • Team concepts and confidence
  • Habits that support long-term development

Our experienced coaches create a positive and competitive environment that allows players to improve throughout the year.

High School Players: Grades 9–12

Our high school program brings together many of the area’s top players to train, develop, and compete against premier programs from across the country.

Team 91 Carolina high school players receive:

  • Guidance and support throughout the college recruiting process

Team 91 Carolina Boys FAQ

1. Why should I join Team 91?

Team 91 Carolina Boys is committed to developing complete lacrosse players through high-level field and box lacrosse training. Based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, our tryouts are open to all players, with team members traveling from across North Carolina and neighboring states.

What sets Team 91 apart:

2. How will I know if I made a team?

Following tryouts, roster invitations will be communicated by email. Evaluations and invitations may continue until each team’s roster is complete.

Players who do not receive an immediate invitation may remain under consideration as roster needs are finalized.

3. How do I secure my spot?

Annual tryouts are typically held during the summer, with selected players committing to the program through the following summer.

All players must register for tryouts. Players who cannot attend should contact Carolina@Team91Lacrosse.com to discuss an alternative evaluation opportunity. Supplemental tryouts may also be offered if roster openings remain during the year.

Players who receive an invitation must complete the online registration and submit the required tuition deposit to secure their roster spot.

4. What is the Team 91 refund policy?

Accepting a roster spot is a commitment to the full-year program and its annual tuition. Refunds, including prorated refunds, are generally only considered when another player fills the vacated roster position.

Injury-related refund requests require documentation from a medical provider and are reviewed individually. Families must acknowledge the program’s refund policy during registration.

5. What payment options are available?

Team 91 offers several payment plans that allow families to spread tuition payments throughout the year. If a custom payment plan is needed please contact carolina@team91lacrosse.com.

All tuition balances must be paid in full before uniforms and gear can be distributed. If a balance remains at the scheduled uniform handout, the package will be held until payment is completed.
